Seminars

Competitive Analysis Technologies now offers an inter-active, self-paced training course that is the result of five years of oil and gas-training seminars presented around the US for companies and industry organizations.

How to Find Oil and Gas Information on the Internet is designed to help busy personnel maximize their productivity in minimal time.

We have taken the lessons learned from these seminars and developed nine interactive modular training segments that allow for individual feedback.

Each module begins with the latest information on the topic, provides the student with step-by-step examples, and then challenges the student to find the answers to several questions.

The lessons are each 7-12 pages in length.

The student searches for the answers on the Internet at their own pace.

Answers are input in an Answer Sheet and returned to the instructor via e-mail. Each lesson should take no more than one hour to complete.

The instructor answers the student's submission with recommended resources and sends the next lesson to the student. This entire course can be completed in as little as a week, or at a more leisurely pace as desired by the student.

Who should take this training?

This course is designed for anyone needing upstream oil and gas information from outside sources in their work. This will include, but not be limited to: engineers, landmen, geologists, geophysicists, librarians and legal researchers.
